I was born
and raised in Weston. My father and grandfather were firefighters
in Weston and I am carrying on the legacy as a call firefighter.
I attended MassBay Community College and received my degree
in Horticulture and took classes and have experience in
Entomology. After graduation, I worked for 16 years at Upham
Landscape Company and from 2005 to January 2008 I worked
at The MacDowell Company. In October 2006, I started ohDEER
and two years later, I left The MacDowell Company to pursue
ohDEER full time – it’s going great!
Per
my tag line, I provide Safe Solutions for Deer, Tick &
Mosquito Control. My product does NOT contain any pesticides,
chemicals or anything that is harmful to your children,
pets or beneficial pollinating insects. However, our deterrents kill ticks and mosquitoes
on contact and suffocates any mosquito larvae that would
ordinarily produce more mosquitoes!
I
have two children of my own and I am a concerned parent
as well. The need for organic Tick and Mosquito Control
seems to increase every year as we are all susceptible to
the disease carried by these insects. I am passionate about
ohDEER and the outdoors and my goal is to service my clients,
provide safe solutions to help preserve your landscape and
aid in the fight against lyme disease, EEE and other disease
brought on by ticks and mosquitoes.
We should all be able
to admire our landscape and enjoy the outdoors! |
